Daniel Owolagba is a dual-qualified lawyer and a graduate of the University of Lagos and the Nigerian Law School. He is licensed to practise in both Nigeria and Ontario and brings a client-focused approach to family law matters.

Extensive Litigation Experience

With more than a decade of litigation experience, Daniel offers a strong advocacy background. Before being called to the Ontario Bar, he built an extensive litigation career in Nigeria, representing clients in a wide range of legal disputes and appearing regularly before the courts.

Insight Into Ontario’s Court System

Between 2024 and 2026, Daniel worked with Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General as a Court and Client Representative at the Family Court in the Newmarket Courthouse and the Toronto Regional Bail Centre. This experience provided valuable insight into Ontario’s court processes.

Professional, Compassionate Guidance

Daniel is dedicated to helping clients navigate family law matters with professionalism, compassion, and practical guidance. Drawing on experience across two legal systems, he is committed to providing thoughtful advocacy and responsive client service.

Outside the Practice of Law

Daniel is a huge soccer and basketball fan and proudly supports the Los Angeles Lakers and Arsenal Football Club. He also enjoys cooking, trying new recipes, and going on long walks.
