A Diverse Professional Background

Originally from Toronto, Charles obtained his B.A. and B.A. Hons. from Carleton University in Ottawa. Upon returning to Toronto, he worked for the Bank of Montreal as a Mutual Fund Representative and Lender after completing the Canadian Securities Course and the Investment Funds in Canada Course.

A Passion Beyond the Profession

Charles has always had a passion for cooking and fine dining. After completing the Chef Training Program at George Brown College, he moved to Niagara, where he trained, worked, and obtained his Red Seals as a Cook and Baker/Pâtissier.

Extensive Family Law Experience

Charles began his career as a Law Clerk in 2008, with the majority of his nearly 15 years of legal experience dedicated to family law. In 2010, he obtained his Law Clerk Certificate from the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.

Commitment to Mediation

In 2020, Charles earned his Certificate in Family Mediation from York University. He is also working toward his family mediation certifications through the Ontario Association for Family Mediation and the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario.

Practical and Respectful Support

Often praised by court staff, clients, and even opposing counsel, Charles brings a practical approach to helping parties resolve family law issues in a respectful and efficient manner.

Life Outside the Office

In his spare time, Charles continues to cook and explore local wineries and restaurants. He also enjoys playing tourist with his son and volunteering with Wellspring Niagara, a local cancer support services provider.
